Robotics

Robotics is fast becoming the focal point for most Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) experiential learning activities. The Krisys (pronounced Crisis) Robot Workshop combines team-oriented learning with leadership roles in Mechanics, Electronics, Embedded Intelligence and Systems Engineering. By the end of the week, four-person teams will have built electronic circuitry, constructed a three-wheel chassis, designed and printed a 3D part, programmed an embedded microcomputer in Python, collected and analyzed performance data and documented their experience on a web page. Workshop activities will culminate on the final day with the Krisys Race of Champions!
